The Fat Of America

-         We filled up with water, drained our tanks before leaving Mt. Hood. We didn’t know where we were going to stay so just to be sure we loaded up. And we did end up staying at a rest stop. Out here they let you dump at regular rest stops so in theory we wouldn’t have to stay at a Campground at all. Last night we ran the generator all night. This was partly because of the air conditioners, partly because I thought that it might mask the engine noise of our neighbors, and it did. This rest stop is actually very nice, lots of flowers, a nice building hidden by trees…nicer than some of the camp grounds we’ve stayed at.
