Day 4

Back Up Next

-         We actually sleep late. It’s 9:30 by the time we rise and shine…we have plans to shop for some more homey touches…they have a TJ Maxx out here. Spending money! I finish our grocery shopping at the local Trader Joe’s – I love it!

-         When we finally hook up with Uncle Stu and Marcia it’s already around four o’clock. We drive up their street as far as the truck will take us and meet with Marcia a few streets away from their lovely home. They have plans to take us swimming in the interest of the kids and the public pool turns out to be really great! Waterslides and baby pools, very nice and clean. Actually all of the area has a distinctly European feel, almost German.

-         After the pool they take us to another brewery, BBQ – place! They have Marion berry pie!

-         After a sad good-buy in the parking lot Steve and I try to find a place to stay…we do, except it has very precarious looking tight spaces. Nothing you want to play around with in the middle of the night…so we find a nearby truck-stop, pullover and go to sleep.
