Day 14

Back Up Next

-         Again we try to find our Mossyrock RV park, and at 8:30 do!

-         It’s pretty and right next to a beautiful lake, of course we can’t stay at the pretty site right next to the lake because the internet doesn’t not reach over there… so we pull into the first spot next to the entrance and it seems we have internet…

-         The kids wake up, Steve takes a shower, I do the dishes, the vacuuming, the coffee, the mopping, call my grandmother for her 85th birthday ($ 9/minute) and get ready to go out to the lake with the kids…but not

-         Steve announces that we can’t stay b/c the Wi/Fi doesn’t work after all… … …

-         Defeated I insist on a shower before we go.

-         The kids have been couch potatoes the whole time so in effect they might as well have been in a parking lot somewhere…it brakes my heart to leave this all behind, try to be understanding, but fail excellently.

-         We end up in Portland, OR at a place with a pool. But we don’t arrive until 6:10 pm and Steve didn’t get ANY work at all done today…I am worried…

-         I take the kids to the pool. The pool is cold, the kids are having a good time. I give them a shower in the pool bathrooms, which are very clean but slippery…On the way back Jonah falls flat on his face running down hill too fast, and gets a bloody lip.

-         It’s 11:15 pm, I am exhausted, Steve has gotten no work done…I am worried…

In the morning, I can see the full beauty of the damage I put on Elbee trying to find Mossy Rock in the Dawn Of The Dead
Maybe awnings will make the dent less obvious?

Nope.
