Summer, 2007

We are planning our next summer adventure now. This page will
include the details of our next trip.
Plans for next trip
- I will have converted the 12.5Kw electric generator to run
on WVO, so we will have free AC. I have the system all plumbed
and all the components ready. I even have the control panel
(below) I made, ready to mount under the existing generator controls
in the corner of the picture. I just need a few warm days to
do the outdoor work.

- I am also considering attaching a small wind mill to Elbee
to generate electricity when we are parked. I am looking for
one that will produce about 500 watts, if anyone can suggest on that
I can rig up to Elbee such that it is retractable. I have some
solar panels, but at 15 watts per panel, they seem delicate,
expensive and only work in the daytime.
- We are going to do another trans-American trip on WVO, only this
time, since we know it works, we will alert the media ahead of time to
the place we will be "filling up". We are hoping that this will
generate a lot of good local press for opening minds to alternative
fuel.
- We would love to find a sponsor or sponsors. They could
help us plan and organize our "tour"
Please let me know if you can think of any interesting corporate
sponsors that may be a good match for a vegetable oil powered RV filled
with annoying children and father.
